VBSEO necessary?

I am wondering what people here think about VBSEO and if it is necessary on a brand new vbulletin forum

I really don't think its 100% necessary, there are other methods you can take to search engine optimize your vBulletin. Though it won't get all the same results or benefit that vBSEO delivers, it can work good enough.

So what would your opinion be for a site that makes minimal money via adsense?

Would the increase in traffic offer a pay back? If so how fast? What is your experience? I know that all sites are different but I am just trying to get a feel to how much benefit it is.
